We use just a touch of distressing on the edges of the frame to give a little bit of interest. The art is printed on canvas and sealed. This small art sign will last for a long time. Would look great on a fireplace mantel, shelf or entry way table. Could also be used on a tiered tray or coffee table. The frame is wide enough to stand alone. Measures: 7.48x7.48x1.5 Pictures show front and back This one stands alone on tabletop - but if you would like to hang it, the frame is thick enough that your sign can rest quite easily on a nail or screw in the wall. We find it works best to use two screws, one for each corner.
